New Year Resolution – Choose Your Divorce Solicitor

It is a fact that many New Year Resolutions involve the determination to end a marriage or cohabitation and start afresh.

As such, in January Specialist Family Lawyers are often instructed by those seeking a life apart from their partners and others, shell-shocked by their partner’s resolve to progress their life in a new direction.  Sadly, many couples decide that divorce is the only option.

Even if it is not possible to salvage a relationship, at Goodsells Family Law, we are determined to assist you in your departure from this relationship with dignity and strength, and as amicably as possible, in the circumstances. We aim to minimise your distress and, ultimately, to make you happier.

As a sole practitioner with 20 years experience in Divorce and Family Law, Donna Goodsell provides a dedicated, personal service to help you through this difficult period of your life. She is a member of Resolution, an organisation for specialist family lawyers who are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. She follows a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational and amicable approach towards family problems and she will adopt this practice for you. However, if necessary, Donna will be swift, firm and precise in taking whatever legal action is necessary on your behalf to secure your best interests, those of your children and to protect your rights.

Donna’s aim is to achieve a workable solution for you and your partner.   Her primary focus is on the children, whose needs must come first in order to avoid their distress. She will assess your needs and manage expectations to find realistic solutions towards settling both issues involving the children and the financial issues arising from your divorce or the termination of your cohabitation. Donna often works as a team with trusted and expert counsel, and specialist family mediators to achieve these ends.

Donna is also trained in collaborative law.
